I am hoping to use this spot to share a few of my sewing thoughts and opinions with you all. I do realise my website has taken me sometime to get together but I do hope it shows you what I am about and what I am trying to achieve.
My next major event is launching my Sew Much Fun Pattern Collection at the Clothes Show Live in December. This is really a result of combining my type of instruction with simple designs to make sure beginners get a higher level of success rate and therefore encouraging them to keep sewing. My golden rule is to get you to make something you will use, wear, give and be proud of it, and with the encouragement of others you will be bound to sew more.
I visited the Festival of Quilts again this year and as always quite amazed at some of the high level of sewing skill achieved. Having been a great supporter of the contemporary quilting, this year I have to admit that I really preferred looking backwards towards the traditional quilting for some reason it just gave me a feeling of security and calmness. This term I start my first patchwork and quilting class, with many very eager students ready to learn and have a go! Good luck to us all!
