Kids' parties...
Sewing is a great activity for a birthday party from age 6 and upwards! Everyone gets the opportunity to design and make something and take it home as part of their party bag.
Have the party at the shop or at home….We suggest different activities and party lengths for different ages. All these parties include decorating the item with trims, buttons and ribbons from the shop with hand sewing and then for the larger projects we complete the boring part on the sewing machine.
Due to space limitations we can only have 10 participants at the shop, but if you want more we can come to your home (there would be an extra cost for this). We always suggest a birthday cake and drink to give a bit of a break in the proceedings but we don’t provide these ourselves. You can either do this yourself or organise it with Primrose Bakery who are based just around the corner from the shop and will happily deliver. www.primrosebakery.org.uk
To book a party please ring us to discuss your requirements and check availability. To confirm your party we require a deposit of £75. To avoid disappointment thinking about your party two months in advance is helpful as we can only run them on Fridays after 4.30pm or Sundays.
