Our adult classes consist of 2 hours a week for a period of five weeks on a rolling basis avoiding main holiday and half term breaks. The classes are small, never exceeding six students and they are available during the day between 11am-1pm and in the evening between 7pm-9pm. During this time we either introduce you to the fun and enjoyment of sewing in the beginner’s class or we take you into the world of making clothes, altering existing clothes or your own creative projects in a supportive environment so you can grow and develop your sewing skill. In this wonderful creative atmosphere you will also make many friends and share ideas with like minded people.
We like to be as flexible as we can with classes so you cannot book them on-line. Please contact us via email sewmuchfun@btinternet.com or call us at the shop on 020 7722 9889. Our classes are popular so to confirm your place we require a £50 deposit paid up front and then the rest of the payment is made on the first day of the course. All classes are taught at our Primrose Hill Shop & Studio.
Beginners Sewing Class
All the very basics will be covered in this course including threading the sewing machine, sewing
seams, creating shape, appliqué and machine sewn hems. At least three projects will be completed
including a pincushion, drawstring bag and a cushion with a pillow case closure with ribbon. This
course promises to improve your sewing confidence and inspire you to do more!

Beginners Sewing Class Two
By popular demand I have been asked to run a Beginners ‘Two’ class. We will learn by being
creative with our sewing and become experts with zip inserts in purses and wash bags, dealing with
linings, shopping bags with mock gussets and the wonders of bias binding and piping. There will
be a choice for the final project. All fabric and materials included for the first two weeks extra fabric
required for last three weeks.
Extra fabric required will cost around £30 or you can bring your ever growing fabric cupboard!

Introduction to Patchwork and Quilting
This class will introduce you to the very basics of creating a cot sized quilt, a wall hanging or two
quilted cushions. We will cover colour selection, cutting, sewing shapes together, appliqué design and
application, hand and machine quilting and binding edges. You will need to do some sewing at home
in between sessions to complete the project. You will need to bring a rotary knife and cutting board,
or purchase one from the shop at a discounted rate. (£35)

Sew Much More! Sewing Class
This is a mixed ability class for those with more sewing experience and wanting to pursue their
own sewing project with constant teaching and guidance. Projects include sewing from commercial
patterns, including the Japanese ones! Copying your favourite piece of clothing in your wardrobe,
cushions for your dining room chairs or making a personalised quilt. The class is flexible and with no
more than 6 students and can be managed around holidays.
