About the shop
The shop is about inspiring people to sew.
To begin with I design, develop and make lots of creative sewn products that are displayed (and for sale) in the shop and window to encourage people of all ages with the joy and fun that can be achieved from sewing. Next, I enjoy selecting a lovely mix of good quality contemporary and stylish fabrics and trims to encourage sewing creativity and sell them all by the metre. This is always, (if required!) supported with a good bit of sewing advice on how to go about making a variety of projects or what books and patterns are worth having.
I also stock the full range of New Look Patterns supplied by Simplicity and all my favourite sewing equipment. The fabric and trim range is aimed at soft furnishings, accessories and clothing and is mainly cotton, cotton/linen mix, complemented with a great choice of colour in fleece and felt. I also have a range of pre-cut sewing kits that I have developed over the years for children, teenagers and adults. They all make great crafty gifts and I guarantee that if you follow the instructions all the projects definitely work!
